After a whole year of searching for direction and feeling quite frustrated and alone, I decided to try something different \u2014 to reach a wider audience, and perhaps to find a more comfortable personality to sit in. Maybe I\u2019ll switch the language I write in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Pretty much like what I did seven years ago \u2014 switching from a Mandarin-speaking country to an English-speaking country. A different language allows us to melt into a different culture and brings out another side of ourselves. It definitely feels exciting and refreshing to explore a new language. Somehow, it brings out a more na\u00efve potential and gives us another chance to start from zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I\u2019ve been writing in Mandarin in my journals for years. For me, it feels exciting to step into a new world and begin sharing \u2014 no longer just playing puppet in my little world, but stepping onto an unfamiliar stage. Allowing myself to be imperfect. Seeing my journey from another perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I truly hope the hole will continue journeying with me into the world.
